These are the
observations of Dr. Don Fontennele – renowned child psychiatrist, not mine. And
I am seeing a lot of truth in it already, even as my little devil is on the
threshold of being ten years old. He challenges all my instructions with a
defiant “Why?”. He confronts all my reprimands with “ You also did that
yesterday, or the day before, or last week, or last year”…okay, you got
it. Are your experiences same as mine ?
Keema Sandwich:
What you will need:
Kheema Sandwich
(makes 4)
What you will
need:
Bread: 8 pieces,
white/brown/ multigrain
Butter: 1 tsp (optional)
Chicken keema: 100
g
Onion: 1 large
Garlic pods: 2,
chopped
Green chillies:
2
Cumin seeds: ½ a
tsp
Salt: acc to
taste
lemon juice: 1
tsp
chilli pdr: ½
tsp
How you will go about it:
- Marinade the keema in lemon juice, salt, chilli pdr. Heat oil in a wok
- Throw in the cumin seeds
- Throw in the chopped garlic
- After 30 secs, throw in the chopped onions,
- When the onion take a beautiful golden hue, and you can feel the lovely aroma of frying onion, add the marinated keema, green chillies & grated ginger.
- Add salt, Mix well, cover, and cook till the keema is done, and the water dries up.
- Remove, cool.
- Put a good quantity of filling in between two pieces of bread, and toast in a sandwich toaster.If you want you can butter the breads on the top, I don't, for me and hubby, but for S - yes.
Have it with tea or coffee. Makes an excellent breakfast, or even an evening snack.
I can relate your situation though my son is just 5 and half yrs old but still manages to ask me some 50 questions !! This keema sandwich never fails to impress me...Lovely...
